Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the standards for use of the Queuerd platform operated by Patmos Software LLC ("Patmos"). This AUP is incorporated into the Queuerd Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.


1. Prohibited Content and Use Cases

You may not use Queuerd to protect or queue access to any website, application, or service that:

  • Distributes malware, spyware, ransomware, or other malicious software
  • Facilitates phishing, credential harvesting, or social engineering attacks
  • Hosts or distributes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that exploits minors
  • Promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, or illegal weapons trafficking
  • Engages in illegal gambling, unlicensed financial services, or fraudulent schemes
  • Distributes unauthorized copyrighted material (piracy)
  • Sends unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Engages in illegal discrimination based on protected characteristics
  • Violates the intellectual property rights of others

2. Prohibited Technical Use

You may not use the Queuerd Service to:

  • Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or reverse engineer the Service
  • Perform security testing on the Service without prior written authorization from Patmos
  • Deliberately overload the Service's infrastructure (DDoS, stress testing without authorization)
  • Use the API or SDK in a manner that exceeds documented rate limits
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
  • Share API keys or account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other tenants
  • Use the Service as a proxy to circumvent other security controls in ways not intended by the Service design

3. Your Responsibility for Visitor Experience

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring your visitors are informed that they may be placed in a waiting room
  • Complying with consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction that may require disclosure to visitors
  • Obtaining necessary consents from your visitors for the use of queue cookies where required by applicable law
  • Not using the waiting room mechanism to deceive or mislead visitors about the nature or availability of your service
  • Ensuring the waiting room configuration accurately reflects your actual infrastructure capacity

4. Resale and White-Label Restrictions

Unless you have a written reseller or white-label agreement with Patmos:

  • You may not resell the Queuerd Service to third parties as a standalone product
  • You may not represent the Service as your own product without attribution
  • You may not use the Queuerd name or brand in ways that imply endorsement by Patmos

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe someone is using the Service in violation of this AUP, please report it to:

abuse@queuerd.com

Include as much detail as possible: the domain involved, the nature of the violation, and any supporting evidence.


6. Enforcement

Patmos reserves the right to:

  • Investigate any reported or suspected violation of this AUP
  • Remove or disable access to content or configurations that violate this AUP
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP
  • Report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or protect the integrity of the Service.


7. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
